March exams

Institute news

March level I exams were completed.

March level II exams were cancelled part way through. Candidates sitting exams between 16th and 19th March should have completed their exams. Candidates due to sit 20th-27th March were not able to sit.

CAIA has offered all Level II candidates the option to defer their exam to September 2020, or receive a refund of their exam registration fee.

Impact on courses

All Kaplan CAIA courses for the March 2020 exams were completed. Our tutors are here if you have questions or would like advice on how to prepare for the September exams. If you are a CAIA Level 2 student and you were not able to sit the March exam, your online access will automatically be extended for you to use as you study for the September exam.

September exams

Institute news

September exams are currently expected to take place as originally planned

Impact on courses

The classroom tuition is moving to Live Online, all relevant course materials will be delivered to you by post. Our September revision course will be starting in August, our current expectation is that classroom courses will take place as planned. We continue to monitor and follow Government guidelines, and recognise that restrictions on social distancing and travel may make it impossible for us to run face-to-face classes later in the year. If that happens and you are booked on a face-to-face revision class, we would like to reassure you that your classes will still run as scheduled but will switch to a Live Online format delivered by our UK tutor team.

Up-to-date information is posted on the Coronavirus Update (COVID-19) section of the CAIA website launch.
