Below is the latest and most up to date information from the Institute, regarding exams and assessments.

Find out more:

Institute news

The CISI have opened most UK test centres across the UK as of Monday 1st June. Many of their international test centres have also reopened. Social distancing procedures have been put in place. For more details and a list of reopened centres please visit the CISI website.

The CISI are running pilots for remotely invigilated exams. They are hoping to make these available later in the summer.

Impact on courses

For all courses we have extended MyKaplan access to allow extra time for you to study. Live Online classes continue to run per published schedules.

End Point Assessments

I was due to sit my End Point Assessment (EPA) in the next few months. What do the exam cancellations mean for my Apprenticeship?

It is not possible currently for apprentices to get to Gateway for EPA without completing their CISI qualification. Your Talent Coach will be getting in contact with you, or do speak with your Kaplan Apprenticeship account manager to talk through your timeline and any extension to the programme duration.

Who is best to contact for help and advice?

If you have any questions or would like further guidance, please email our Client and Student Services team at citybookings@kaplan.co.uk, or for anyone on an Apprenticeship we recommend reaching out to your talent coach or Kaplan Apprenticeship account manager.

Safeguarding and Mental Health

If you have any safeguarding concerns, please contact us via Safeguarding@kaplan.co.uk during working hours. It is a confidential email account.

There are two very good charities who have out of hours support: NSPCC for concerns about young people 0808 800 5000 or the Samaritans 116123.

We can also signpost you to several helpful organisations - we have collated contact details of organisations such as Anxiety UK, Mind, CALM, and Young Minds.
