Institute news

IMC exams were suspended on 20th March after Pearson VUE testing centres closed. The Exam delivery services will resume once it is determined safe to do so.

Impact on courses

IMC weekday and evening courses will continue to run per the published 2020 timetable, but will be delivered Live Online. Delegates will be contacted in the two weeks before their course with joining instructions, links for the sessions and printable course materials in PDF format.

How can exams be rearranged?

Candidates with existing exam bookings are being contacted by Pearson VUE and CFA UK. CFA UK are recommending delegates reschedule exams for later in the year, and will extend the 12 month delegate registration period for free for delegates that now exceed that period.

For the most up-to-date information delegates are advised to monitor the COVID-19 Update page launch on the Pearson VUE website.

End Point Assessments

I was due to sit my End Point Assessment (EPA) in the next few months. What do the exam cancellations mean for my Apprenticeship?

Your Talent Coach will be getting in contact with you, or do speak with your Kaplan Apprenticeship account manager to talk through your timeline and the impact of IMC exam cancellations.

Who is best to contact for help and advice?

If you have any questions or would like further guidance, please email our Client and Student Services team at, or for anyone on an Apprenticeship we recommend reaching out to your talent coach or Kaplan Apprenticeship account manager.

Safeguarding and Mental Health

If you have any safeguarding concerns, please contact us via during working hours. It is a confidential email account.
