Accountancy and Tax

Accountants play a vital role in organisations, making sure they have enough money to grow, as well as ensuring staff and suppliers are paid on time. Accountants also help to secure business deals, often acting as the go-between for different groups of people such as bankers, lawyers and tax authorities.

Accountants generally either work in an accountancy firm or practice or within a finance department of an organisation so it is possible to work in almost any industry!

The UK Average salary for a qualified accountant is £50,000 and you could expect perks such as: annual bonus, flexible working hours or a company car.

What does Kaplan offer?

Kaplan offers four different Accountancy Apprenticeships, each leading to an industry-recognised qualification.

The average time to complete the Apprenticeship is three to four years.

There are three AAT levels. Students typically take between 12 and 24 months to complete each level.
