Kaplan team at awards

We’re so proud to announce that Kaplan’s Learning Development and Design team has won gold at the Learning Technologies Awards 2023, in the category “Excellence in the design of learning content - commercial sector”.

The Learning Technologies Awards are independent, and the most sought-after awards in the industry. They recognise the commitment, enthusiasm and passion for learning technologies across the world. Finalists are selected by an independent judging panel of experts organised by the Learning Network.

When making their decision on Kaplan’s submission, the panel said:

“This was a very strong entry, with excellent integration of learning content, practice, coaching and live sessions. It used a broad range of techniques to make the learning more digestible, memorable, and engaging. There was a strong focus on accessibility and DE&I, and good examples of branching scenarios and other design-led elements. The team were not afraid to innovate based on feedback and learner data, and there was good evidence of the positive impact of the programme. Overall, a great solution that the judges found very impressive.”

The gala dinner and awards ceremony took place at the Park Plaza Hotel at Westminster Bridge on 15 November 2023, and were hosted by comedian Rob Beckett. It was a great night, with so many award winners sharing the spotlight.

James Mansbridge, Kaplan’s Head of Learning Design and Development, commented:

“This is a fantastic achievement for the team, as well as some merited recognition. It is also a great endorsement of our ability to produce outstanding digital learning experiences entirely in-house.”

Well done to all involved, we can’t wait to see what you create in 2024.
