Kaplan were pleased to join RSA at their Manchester office for a special ceremony marking the completion of their first cohort of Insurance apprentices.
Celebrating their hard work and achievement, the Apprentices were awarded their Cert. CII by Kirstie Filby, Head of Financial Services Apprenticeships at Kaplan, and were joined by their managers and colleagues to mark the occasion.
With the hard work of Nicola Spennati, Kaplan Assessor, and Jo Dent, Team Manager at RSA, the programme also pioneered the application of the Apprenticeship framework to existing non-apprenticeship staff, helping RSA to upskill their team and create a more knowledgeable work force.
The year long apprenticeship programme developed by Kaplan in partnership with RSA saw a 100% pass rate for their first cohort. Pearce Mooney, Insurance Apprentice at RSA, commented: "It's been great – they've given us loads of responsibility from the start. I've really enjoyed the exposure too. For example, in our first month we got to meet the CEO of the company, which not everyone gets the opportunity to do."
Ben Peyton, Apprentice at RSA, also adds: "The apprenticeship scheme offered by RSA has provided me with practical and relevant training and experience. The structured programme has meant I have been able to develop skills needed to carry out the job well. "
"In the next 2 years I am looking forward to receiving a professional qualification which is a great kick-start to my career. The only limit is my ambition."
