With no structured management and leadership training in place, this client had spotted a worrying gap in the development for their managers: the results of employee surveys backed this up, revealing that teams felt the management and leadership of the company weren’t equipped to successfully generate growth.
We identified three specific management groups, with slightly different development needs, and a modular programme over nine months was devised and tailored for each. This programme was also mapped to the company’s competency framework, so individual management and leadership development points could be formally addressed. The modules covered key topics such as Financial Management, Decision-making, Leadership and Influencing skills.
Every member of all three groups gave the programme a five-star rating feeling it not only addressed their personal development needs but also helped to bridge a key skills gap within the company which would otherwise have threatened future growth.
