Becoming a Certified Chartered Accountant will open doors to a diverse range of career paths across the accounting and finance field. From fashion to football, accountancy is essential in all industries. With the global reputation of your ACCA qualification, it's your passport to work around the world.

However you choose to study, the ACCA qualification is split into three levels - Applied Knowledge, Applied Skills, and Strategic Professional. If you have an accountancy or finance degree, or are AAT qualified, you may be eligible to start studying ACCA at the Strategic Professional level.
To achieve your ACCA qualification you’ll need to complete or have exemptions from all three levels, have three years of relevant practical experience and have completed an Ethics and Professional Skills module.
Teaches you essential financial, business and management accounting techniques. Alongside basic business and management principles and the skills required of an accountant. It will take you around 12 months to complete the level.

Foundations is a suite of awards from the ACCA that teaches you the fundamentals of accounting. If you are new to accountancy, or if you’re already working in finance but have no formal qualifications, ACCA Foundations is the perfect place to start. There are no minimum entry requirements, and once you’ve passed, you can move onto Applied Skills.
