There are no formal entry requirements, but we recommend that you refresh yourself with Introduction to Excel Functionality before moving on to the other courses.

Introduction to Excel Functionality
This introductory course expands your knowledge on the day-to-day uses of Excel. Major topics include data entry tips and tricks, formatting, formulae and functions, named cells and blocks of cells, data validation, data tables, and protection of cells and worksheets.
Suitable for: anyone who uses Excel on a regular basis.
Excel Features for Financial Management
This course provides a good grounding in Excel techniques that are needed to selectively manipulate large datasets. You’ll learn how to selectively manipulate sequences of characters, lookup techniques, managing lists and tables, and be introduced to PivotTables and PivotCharts. You should have familiarity with techniques covered in Introduction to Excel Functionality.
Suitable for: those involved in data manipulation.
Introduction to Financial Modelling with Excel
You’ll cover the principles and practice of financial modelling, focussing on a case study involving the construction of an integrated set of financial statements and subsequent investment appraisal. The course also covers sensitivity analysis. You should have familiarity with techniques covered in the first two courses.
Suitable for: anyone involved in the process of financial projection

3. Exams and sittings
There are no formal examinations for the Excel courses. All courses are designed to take one day of training. Practical examples are worked through and discussed within the classroom.
