About the program
Earning the CFA charter proves that you have a thorough understanding of financial markets, and high levels of professionalism and ethics. It also demonstrates your drive for success and excellence.
The CFA Program consists of three levels, each building on the knowledge and skills you developed in the previous level. CFA recommends a minimum of six months, around 300 hours of study, for each level in the charter. As you also need to accumulate 48 months of approved work experience, it will take around four years to complete the full CFA Program.
To study any level in the CFA Program, you must have a Bachelor's degree, or be completing the final year of your degree. Alternatively, you could have four years of relevant qualified work experience, or have a combination of work and university experience from the last four years. Additionally, you must meet the CFA Program professional conduct admission criteria, have a valid passport and be able to take your exams in English.
