Birmingham centre refurbishment: Our Birmingham centre is being refurbished from 3 August for approximately six weeks.

From 1–25 September, the Kaplan reception entrance will be closed. Please use the main Baskerville House Reception, where a member of our Student Experience Team will greet you.

Some facilities may have limited access during the refurbishment. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Kaplan Birmingham is situated in a fantastic location on Broad Street, near to the new Central Library and the International Convention Centre.

To ensure a smooth start, please arrive at the centre at least 10 minutes before your course begins, allowing ample time to locate your classroom and get settled.

On weekends Baskerville House is closed.

Car

Kaplan Birmingham is conveniently located in Birmingham city centre and easily accessible from all directions via the M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll, M40 and M42 motorways.

Student Experience team

As you start your journey with us, the Student Experience team is here to help. Think of us as your guides. We'll answer your questions, help you find your way, and make sure you have a great experience. Whether you're new or returning, we're always here to point you in the right direction. Wi-Fi

All Kaplan centres have guest Wi-Fi, so you can bring your laptop and log on during your breaks if you wish.

Breakout areas

Your course schedule will outline the exact times for each class, and you can anticipate brief breaks during each session, along with a set lunch break usually from 1pm to 2pm every day.

Our centre offers two large breakout areas, equipped with vending machines for hot and cold drinks, as well as a snack machine.

For your convenience, a café is open on weekdays within the building, and cold water dispensers are available throughout, allowing you to refill your water bottles.

You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, as there is a small student kitchen area with microwaves, hot water dispenser and fridges for your use.

The nearest car park to Kaplan Birmingham is the Mailbox Birmingham. Use postcode B1 1RD on your Sat Nav to help locate the car park.

Cycling

Bicycle racks can be found on the West Car Park in the corner just over the road from Kaplan’s front door. See information from the Police on securing your bike safely, as it's important to note that all cycles are left at the owner's risk.

All of our locations have close access to major transport links, wheelchair accessible facilities, a lift if there is more than one floor, and DDA compliant washrooms available.
