We recommend continuing with your studies – there is no need to pause or alter your plans.
The first exams under the new syllabus are scheduled for 2027, and as the full ACCA qualification typically takes 3 to 5 years to complete, many current learners will likely finish their studies before these changes are implemented.

Supporting a smooth transition
We understand you will be curious about how these changes could impact your current studies. To assist with the transition, ACCA has developed a dedicated Transition Tool that will offer detailed guidance on how your expected progress by 2027 aligns with the new syllabus.
We're already reviewing how these changes will fit into our courses so we can support you every step of the way. We'll provide detailed transitional guidance to help all our learners as we get closer to the changes.
If you’re a new learner…
We encourage you to start with the current syllabus. Most of your studies will take place under the current syllabus, with only the final few subjects likely to fall under the updated version.
