Who it’s for

This course is specifically designed for Operations Directors, HR Leaders, and Transformation/Change Managers who oversee the implementation of AI and are responsible for integrating solutions into everyday ways of working. To be eligible, learners must be employed, aged 19 years or over, and working in a leadership position with the autonomy to deliver technological change and inform investment decisions.

Lead the delivery of AI-enabled organisational change strategy, ensuring solutions are sustainable, efficient, and aligned with long-term strategic objectives.
Workforce and ecosystem impact
Assess and manage the human impacts of AI adoption. This includes managing reskilling, role redesign, anticipating potential job displacement, and assessing impacts on wider ecosystems like suppliers and digitally excluded groups.
Risk management
Implement organisational-level AI risk management, including monitoring, the use of tools, mitigation, and escalation.
Audit, compliance, and security
Understand crisis and risk management strategies, how to mitigate system vulnerabilities, and achieve audit and regulatory compliance, including incident response planning.
Monitoring
Monitor the performance and risks of deployed AI systems over the long term, specifically detecting and mitigating issues like emerging bias, model drift, and security vulnerabilities.
Communication

Who is the AI Delivery and Organisational Transformation course designed for?

This course is practically aimed at Departmental Leaders, Operations Directors, HR Leaders, and Transformation/Change Managers who oversee the implementation of AI and are responsible for integrating solutions into everyday ways of working. To be eligible, you must be employed, aged 19 or over, and hold a leadership position with the autonomy to deliver technological change and inform investment decisions.

I don't have a technical background. Will I be expected to write code?

Absolutely not. This course is designed for strategic leaders, not programmers. While you will get hands-on experience using AI tools to understand their potential, you won't write a single line of code. Instead, we focus on AI Literacy, giving you the vocabulary and framework to bridge the gap between technical teams and business goals. You will move from 'understanding the hype' to confidently leading the cultural and operational shifts required for a productivity impact.

How is this course different from the other AI Leadership courses?

While our other courses focus entirely on building the initial business case (Strategy) or safely acquiring and adopting the technology (Governance), this course also covers delivery and organisational change. It is designed for businesses that have already decided on or are close to an AI strategy and need leaders who can successfully solidify the strategy, execute change programmes, upskill staff, and manage workforce impacts.

What is the required time commitment?

The course requires a minimum of 30 hours of compliance. Since this is designed for busy senior leaders, the delivery is flexible and can be completed over a period of 1 to 16 weeks.

How much does the training cost?

This is an officially recognised apprenticeship unit eligible for public funding, with a maximum funding rate of £750.

What are the eligibility criteria?

Learners must not already possess 50% or more of the required knowledge. You will be required to complete a mini-skills scan and a validation call prior to enrollment to ensure the programme is right for you.

How will my learning be assessed?

To complete the course, you must pass a mandatory skills test delivered by the training provider, which demonstrates you have acquired the required skills and knowledge. Your employer will then need to validate the result. There is also an option for an extended independent external assessment if you or your employer feel it is appropriate.
