Transport links

Kaplan Southampton is conveniently located in the city centre and is easily accessible by car and public transport.

To ensure a smooth start, please arrive at the centre at least 10 minutes before your course begins, allowing ample time to locate your classroom and get settled.

Car

From the North: (M3) Continue onto the M27 Westbound. Turn off at Junction 3 (Soton Docks) and continue left onto the M271. Turn left onto Millbrook Road and continue straight ahead following signs to the city centre. Turn left onto Havelock Road.

The South: Exit M27 at Junction 3 and follow the directions as per coming from the North above.

Wi-Fi

All Kaplan centres have guest Wi-Fi, so you can bring your laptop and log on during your breaks if you wish.

Breakout areas

Your course timetable will detail specific class times, and you can expect short breaks during each session, with a dedicated lunch break from 1pm to 2pm, daily.

Kaplan Southampton has a breakout area for relaxing, with tea, coffee and facilities. You're welcome to bring a packed lunch - there's a small student kitchen with microwaves and fridges available for use. You can also purchase food and drink at a number of local outlets and supermarkets nearby.

Parking

There is a pay and display car park located within the business park.

Cycling

Bicycle racks can be found outside Mayflower gym on West Park Road and outside SeaCity Museum on Havelock Rd. Please see information from the Police on securing your bike safely. Please note all cycles are left at owner's risk.
