Central locations

Greater London is home to Kaplan's UK head office and our two largest training centres, Islington and Borough.

Since 2017, we've trained more than 47,300 professionals here, helping learners gain the knowledge, qualifications and skills they need to succeed - and, in turn, strengthening Greater London's economy.

Alongside our learners, Kaplan has a presence as an employer in Greater London across a number of locations, including our London Bridge head office on Borough High Street and Spring House in Islington - we employ 200+ people in a wide range of roles.

These offices house not only our local teaching teams but also national head office functions, including IT, finance and human resources. By having these operations in Greater London, we’ve created skilled jobs, supported career opportunities, and demonstrated a long-term commitment to the region.

Our role in professional development

Kaplan is recognised nationally for developing professional skills in priority sectors that are vital to Greater London's growth - including financial services, accounting, digital and data, and AI. Given its expansive knowledge-based services workforce, London faces particular exposure to the growing changes that artificial intelligence will bring to the world of work.

Through training, apprenticeships, and qualifications, we help people at every stage of their career gain the expertise and skills local employers need most. We develop young people and career changers in Professional and Business Services, as well as Financial Services, which are part of Greater London's priority sectors and form part of Skills England's Industrial Strategy.

This commitment is also celebrated through the Kaplan Apprenticeship Awards, an event that has been hosted at prestigious locations, including The Shard. The event shines a spotlight on the achievements of apprentices, line managers, and colleagues, reinforcing the city's importance as a centre for professional learning and future talent development.

With more than 47,300 professionals training with Kaplan in Greater London, our impact extends well beyond the classroom. These learners go on to apply their skills in workplaces across the region, playing an active role in strengthening the Greater London economy.

We are equally committed to building inclusive workplaces and communities. Initiatives such as National Inclusion Week foster a sense of belonging and provide support for underrepresented groups, helping to ensure that opportunities in Greater London are accessible to all.

Tackling skills shortages and supporting local employers
