Inspiring success

Together we provide paid internships that develop the skills needed for the workplace. Each of our talented interns bring fresh perspectives and invigorating enthusiasm to our team. The true measure of our programme's success is reflected in the fact that many of these bright minds have transitioned into full-time roles, becoming integral members of the Kaplan family.

About the Kaplan internship experience

A comprehensive 12-week training programme designed to give an in-depth understanding of how a leading training provider like Kaplan operates. The programme includes extensive training as well as the opportunity to to support and collaborate with departments including Service Operations, Marketing, Learning and Curriculum and many others.

This rotational approach ensures holistic exposure to the multifaceted nature of our organisation and equips interns with a diverse skill set and a thorough understanding of our industry, ensuring they are equipped to thrive in the professional world.

Support and mentorship

Beyond the practical learning, this programme opens doors to invaluable networking opportunities. Interns have the chance to engage with key figures across Kaplan, including insightful sessions with our CEO. These encounters provide a unique window into the diverse career paths at Kaplan and the inspiring stories behind our team's success.

Throughout the 12-week duration, each intern will be paired with a mentor from our senior management team. This mentorship is a key part of the experience, providing guidance to keep the intern on track and support in setting and accomplishing goals and objectives. The mentors are not only a source of knowledge, they offer consistent feedback and encouragement to help interns maximise their potential during their time with us.

This was my first year as a mentor but I was excited about the opportunity and the chance to make a difference. My mentee had some ongoing responsibilities with her university but we managed to flex the programme so she could fulfil these and still take part. She wasn't necessarily looking to go into education, or being an accountant, but we worked together to find opportunities to increase her skill set, such as gaining access to some of our basic business courses and KTA (Kaplan’s tutor academy) who were able to help develop her presenting skills. Both of these have widened her skill set for whatever career she finally chooses.
