Apprenticeships in Scotland

Introduction

We can now offer AAT Levels 2-4 and ACCA Levels 2-4 for Scottish apprentices via our Live Online study method.

We are working closely with a renowned Scottish Apprenticeship provider, Genius People. Modern apprenticeships in Scotland are made up of two key components: the technical qualification, and core skills.

Our partnership with Genius People enables us to deliver our high quality classroom and Live Online courses to help your apprentices complete their technical qualification. The Genius People team will help your apprentices complete the Core Skills requirements. They will help your apprentice with their portfolio, interview technique, provide talent coaches, and support apprentices outside the qualification learning.

Study method

Live Online

We’re really pleased to be able to offer learning via our Live Online study method. Live Online offers the structure of a classroom, with the flexibility to study anywhere. Apprentices will still have to attend scheduled classes, but they can take them at home or at work.

Apprentices will join timetabled, interactive live lectures online, and talk to tutors during the class for live feedback. During lectures the tutors set small quizzes and polls to test their knowledge as they learn.

All our lectures are recorded, so if one is missed they can catch up, or re-watch classes for extra revision. Live Online comes with plenty of guided online resources and support.

Who can be an apprentice?

In Scotland anyone under 24 can be an apprentice. Apprenticeships are ideal for anyone who wants to work towards a qualification on the job. Apprentices work with experienced colleagues on real projects while putting what they learn straight into practice.
