AAT is one of the most popular accounting technician qualifications and takes around three years to complete. You don’t need any previous qualifications or accounting experience to begin, and it’s open to anyone, from school leavers to career changers.

With 486,000 students worldwide, ACCA is ideal if you want to progress your accountancy career by becoming a chartered accountant, allowing you to work in a variety of industries all over the world. In total, in takes around five years to become fully qualified.
CIMA is the ideal choice if you're looking to become a management accountant, and develop your accounting career in business. It takes three to four years to complete, and you'll gain a globally-recognised qualification.
Certificate in Business Accounting
FIA is the perfect place to start if you're new to accountancy, or are working in finance but have no formal qualifications. Awarded by ACCA, there are up to four levels you can complete; you'll learn the fundamentals in accountancy, including recording financial transactions, management, business costs and taxation.

All Kaplan centres have Wi-Fi broadband, so you can bring your laptop and log-on during your breaks if you wish.
There is no parking at the Kaplan building. NCP car park on East Street opposite Leicester train station is the nearest to the centre.

Your specific class times will be shown on your course timetable, however it is normal to have a short break during each session and lunch time is 13.00 – 14.00 each day.
Kaplan Leicester has a large breakout area and vending machines within the centre. You can also purchase food and drink at a number of local outlets and supermarkets nearby. Alternatively, you can bring a packed lunch.
