Book your exams

General information

You don't even have to be studying with Kaplan to book your exam. You can use our booking system and sit your exam in one of our centres.

You can rearrange an exam, but we need a minimum of five working days' notice to make any changes. This doesn't include the day of the exam or the day you request the change.

  Check exam details early

  Confirm the date, time and location of your exam well ahead of time. Familiarise yourself with any test centre entry requirements and procedures.

  Arrive ahead of time

  Aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start to allow time for check-in, security procedures, and to settle your nerves.

  Organise everything you need

  Make sure you have all permitted items, as per the institute's requirements, ready ahead of time.

  Follow official instructions

  Ignoring instructions from invigilators or failing to follow procedures may lead to disciplinary action. Be sure to read and adhere to all guidelines carefully.

  Bring approved identification

  Carry a valid form of identification as required by the examining body. Double-check that your ID is current and matches your details.

  Understand exam rules and format

  Familiarise yourself with the exam structure, permitted materials, and behavioural guidelines beforehand to reduce anxiety and ensure rule compliance.

Extra support

Select 'request additional exam support' when making your booking, and your Kaplan centre will contact you to discuss your requirements. Additional exam support may include:

• Special exam facilities
• A reader
• A scribe
• Visual aids
• Extra time
• Disability access
• Learning disability support
• Other, as agreed with your exam centre and the institute organisation

If you request additional exam support, your exam centre will contact you to discuss this further once you've booked your exam. You may be required to provide evidence to the Institute for their consideration, and then forward the Institute's reply to Kaplan. We therefore recommend that you book your exam at least four weeks in advance to allow for these communications.
