Once you’ve completed the AAT Professional Diploma you could be looking at salaries around £40,000 per year or more. But even with AAT Foundation or Advanced you could earn £25,000-35,000 per year in a brand new role.

You don’t need any experience to get started with AAT

There are no entry requirements to enrol on an entry level accounting course, such as AAT Foundation. You’ll need maths and English GSCEs, and a good grasp of IT, but you definitely don’t need a degree or A-Levels.

Many accounting qualifications are globally recognised, so you could take your career anywhere in the world. Fancy a bit of financial management in the sun? You could head out to Dubai and grow your career there. Or if snow is more up your alley, take your love of all things tax to Alaska.

Once qualified you could become a Tax Manager, Payroll Manager, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, Finance Manager, to name just a few. There are so many opportunities open to you with an AAT qualification.
