How can our Apprenticeships train individuals to be the future leaders of your business?

We offer multiple programmes in line with the new standards to fit perfectly with your business, including team leader, department manager and associate project manager.

How the new Apprenticeship standards can train a leader

These new standards offer you, the employer, fantastic opportunities to add talent to your workforce. They can also be used to upskill existing staff with a range of industry leading qualifications from awarding bodies including ILM, APM and CIPD.

The new standards open the door to a wide range of job roles in business, customer, leadership and management, and HR. Starting from entry level positions in Administration and Customer Service, learners can progress onto Apprenticeships covering key first-line management, project management, and consultancy skills before moving onto standards aimed at department managers and senior leaders.

Which standards do we offer?

We offer multiple Leadership and Management Apprenticeships at Levels 2, 3, 4, and 5. For example, Project Management at Level 4, Human Resources at Levels 3 & 5 and Management at Levels 3 and 5.

What's included

Professional Qualification

All our Leadership and Management Apprenticeships include a Professional Qualification to ensure that along with first-class skills and behavioural training, they will also receive an industry leading, recognised qualification such as ILM, CIPD or APM.

Development Days

Programmes include access to up to 6 development day workshops designed and delivered by our expert Leadership and Management team. These interactive, skills-based sessions focus on key skills and behaviours and their application in the workplace.


For each of the Apprenticeship standards we deliver, our apprentices will have access to at least 20 professionally accredited, e-learning modules, mapped to their own personal development areas.

Talent Coach

For all of our Apprenticeship standards, learners will be allocated a Talent Coach whose role it is to support and guide them throughout their programme and ensure they are prepared and ready for their End Point Assessment.

Development day workshops

Every Apprenticeship we offer includes access to our development day workshops, created and delivered by our Leadership and Professional Development team.

Each interactive workshop focuses on a key skill or behaviour found in the new Apprenticeship standards, to help learners understand the application of this skill or behaviour in the workplace. The workshops give learners an opportunity to embed essential skills and behaviours, while interacting with other apprentices. Personal feedback is also provided to identify areas of strength or development.

Development days are run frequently all over the country. We’ve developed over 15 different workshops including:

Registration and recruitment
We are a full service provider and can support on all aspects of Apprenticeships including extensive recruitment services, to ensure you find the right candidate for your organisation. We also manage all of the administrative aspects of registering your apprentices onto a scheme, minimising hassle for you.
Funding and compliance
Kaplan has a wealth of experience in managing and complying with ESFA requirements for the registration, maintenance and certification of learners. We manage all of the complex compliance and reputational risks that come with administering publicly funded education, while ensuring that the training your employees receive remains at the high corporate standard you rightly expect.
Technical knowledge
Successfully preparing learners for professional exams is at the very heart of what we do. Over the last 10 years we have continually embraced innovation in this space, pioneering the latest learning technologies and methods to offer our clients truly flexible training options, without compromising on the quality of the learning experience.
Skills and behaviours
Through milestone maps created for each programme, we develop a learning journey that combines the Technical Qualification with access to up to 40 online Skills e-learning sessions that explore the skill or behaviour in more detail, and help apprentices think about how they can apply it more effectively in their role.
Monitoring and support
Each apprentice is assigned their own dedicated Talent Coach for the duration of their Apprenticeship. Via a series of regular proactive check-in points, the talent coach is the ’go to person’ with any questions about their programme or if they need some support. They will also work with your apprentice to create a unique Milestone Map, which will detail all of the key work, learning and development milestones they personally need for the achievement of their Apprenticeship.
End Point Assessment
All elements within our programmes are geared towards the main aim of getting the learner ready to take their End Point Assessment (EPA). EPA is an essential part of all Apprenticeship programmes as through completing and passing it, Apprentices gain their Apprenticeship.
