At Kaplan, we are committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the accounting industry. That’s why we’ve partnered with AAT to create the Kaplan and AAT Bursary, offering aspiring accountants the chance to study the AAT qualification with us for free.
What is the Kaplan and AAT Bursary?
The Kaplan and AAT Bursary provides financial support to six individuals eager to pursue the globally recognised AAT qualification.
If selected, recipients will receive:
- Full coverage of training provider fees, AAT registration fee and assessments, and learning materials.
- Career guidance through a bespoke Kaplan programme, including CV writing, interview tips, and LinkedIn training and advice.
- Highly valued and practical finance skills and knowledge by studying towards the AAT qualification.
The bursary extends far beyond financial aid. It removes barriers to professional training, promotes inclusivity, and empowers talented individuals from all walks of life to excel in the finance industry. Individuals who may otherwise be overlooked or experience a lack of opportunities have the opportunity to bring their fresh perspectives and innovation to the industry.
What qualifications are included?
The Kaplan and AAT Bursary supports the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. This course is perfect if you’re new to accounting and finance, looking to change careers, or have previously worked in an accounts department.
Why study with Kaplan?
When you study with us, you’ll receive more than an education. You’ll be taught by experienced tutors and access award-winning resources designed to help you thrive.
As part of the bursary, we created a bespoke Kaplan programme. It will provide advice and training on how to build a strong CV, perform well in interviews, and effectively use LinkedIn. We will also help you identify Level 3 apprenticeship and employment opportunities to help you further your career after completing the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
As a Kaplan learner, you will also receive:
- Expert-led training: Our tutors offer personalised guidance to help you succeed.
- A choice of several study options: Choose from tutor-led classes, live online sessions, or more flexible options such as our award-winning OnDemand method. Pick the study style that suits you for each subject within the level.
- Comprehensive support: Get academic help seven days a week via email, live chat, or callback. Our Student Services team is ready to assist with admin or exam-related queries.
We are also proud to be an award-winning training provider, most recently recognised as ‘Large Training Provider of the Year’ at the 2025 AAT Training Provider Awards.
What our learners say
"Kaplan provides a really professional and compassionate study service, ensuring that everything you need is at hand. And if it’s not at hand, they’ll find someone to help you get it. I'm really pleased and proud and, I think, privileged to have got to where I am, and that is in no small part to Kaplan's help.”
